Welcoming Wren – Personal Post
Introducing Wren Wynter. Our precious little girl was born on
December 19th at 8:18pm, weighing 6 pounds 14 ounces
I just wanted to share some of the gorgeous photos we got done all the way from announcing our pregnancy to maternity, to Wren’s newborn session and our sweet mommy+me.

I hired a wonderful photographer on a Summer trip we took out to California to photograph our ultrasound announcement photos. They turned out so cute, such a great way to share the news on social media!
After a few scary doctor appointments, we decided to find out the gender with just the two of us (although we had already planned a big gender reveal party). We had the doctor call us and leave the news as a voicemail so we could listen to it together. That night we sat together on the couch and got to hear “… daddy’s little girl!” over the phone. I couldn’t believe it! We still wanted to surprise our family and friend’s so we kept the gender reveal party as planned and bought a ton of pink confetti cannons to share the news. It was such a fun time getting to be the secret keepers but also surprising everyone.
Of course our puppies, Cooper and Paisley, joined in on the party!
December 19th – After laboring from 3:30am to 7:30pm, our girl was brought into the world via c-section. At some point she had turned sunny side up which stalled dilation and caused her heart rate to crash repeatedly. We realized late that my water had broken around 3:30am but it wasn’t a lot… so it was missed and she had very little fluid for a long time. My blood pressure was reacting horribly to the epidural I received around 6pm so we decided to call the birth plan and have a c-section. The absolute craziest day, but I am so thankful she is here. She was the cutest lips, cheeks, chin, and a head full of brown hair. We are over the moon.
